We will be rescheduling partner yoga because it turns out that around dinner time the Saturday of Valentine’s Day weekend is not ideal for yoga 😉. Have a wonderful weekend celebrating the people in your life who mean the most and we’ll let you know when we reschedule. ❤️
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a little Partner Yoga?!
You can bring your best friend, father, mother, sister, brother, or lover – it’s up to you.
Enjoy exploring familiar beginner-friendly yoga poses paired up with one of your favorite people and see how different it can feel as you communicate through each pose, learn to trust and support each other.
When: Saturday 13 February
Sign up now! It’s going to be fun!
Happy Monday! If you tried to sign up for classes today, you already noticed they were cancelled. Here is the official post: no 8am Gentle Yoga or 11:45am Lunch Break Yoga on Monday 1/24. Both instructors live in neighborhoods that are still snowed in. Thank goodness we all still have electricity. Central Dauphin schools are all closed as well, so it’s likely you’re outside having fun in the snow for one more day.
5:30pm Vinyasa and 7:00pm BOSU are happening – sign up now!
The snow it beautiful! But the plows are nowhere to be seen. Enjoy the beauty (or a little more sleep) because the 8:00 Vinyasa is cancelled. Stay tuned to find out about the 9:30… I could always cross country ski into the studio, right? 😉
8:45 update… Hot yoga cancelled too. This is amazing! My family has been outside since 7:00… no sign of the neighbors yet… but we did see some snowmobiles 🙂
Reflecting on the past year has been a lot like reflecting on the first year of a newborn child… where did it go? Between all the hard work and sleepless nights have been the moments that make it all worth it – sharing yoga with all of you!
Nothing compares to the energy and support of coming together and sharing an internal journey of self discovery and acceptance in a warm, safe environment. Beyond becoming stronger, more flexible, less stressed, and healthier overall, yoga brings you to YOU. Slow down, breathe deeply, explore, discover.
We can’t wait to share 2016 with you! Stay tuned for some of the changes headed your way.

It’s that time of year again where even the most cynical of us stop to contemplate gratitude and thanksgiving. We are hardwired to notice what’s not going right in our lives in order to protect us and keep us out of harm’s way. It takes a little more focus and intention to instead consider what is going right. What works in your life? How do you feel accomplished? Where is your joy today? Where do you find happiness and ease?
It’s also that time of year again to give thanks. After answering these questions, who can you thank? How many people have taken part in what works? How did you get to where you are today? Who joined you in your journey – for however long or short a time?
As you contemplate these questions and the many answers whether general or specific, hold that gratitude in your heart for a few breaths. Breathe it in for a few minutes. Take the time to send a thank you card or give a thank you hug to those who impact your life for good. In your yoga practice this month, nurture a place for gratitude in your heart and see where it takes you.
We all have things that we would like to improve. Let us focus instead on the things that are already wonderful right here and right now.
It’s Trick-or-Treat night here in Lower Paxton Township, so we’re cancelling all classes to go have fun giving sugar to ghosts and witches (and probably a lot of Star Wars characters this year). Have a fun, safe night and we’ll resume normal classes Friday and Saturday.
